Greetings! I pray your Monday has been a wonderful one. I had to be up early today. I got my mammogram done. I had good results. I was back home for Coffee with the ladies at 9 am. It has been a productive day. I give God the glory. Thought we were going to get rain, but no. However, we may need it badly by the end of the week. The next six days are supposed to be in triple digits. Hydration, hydration, hydration!
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Philippians 4:6-7
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”
I posted earlier this week about not worrying. Today’s Scripture reinforces that with additional references to look up in your study time. Circumstances don’t scare God. The Scriptures call us to trust Him no matter what it looks like. Our posture in challenging times should be like 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18. “Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.”
Worry takes our eyes off of God. Isaiah 26:3 – “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!” We have God’s peace in any and every situation. When we trust God to do what only He can do, we have peace. God bless you, and be encouraged. No circumstance is more than God can handle.
