TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: DEUTERONOMY 32:4

Greetings! I pray you are doing well and having a marvelous Monday. I had Monday coffee with my sister and other residents. It was enjoyable. I saw a post on FB that I made fifteen years ago. I wrote a poem about the Lord that I will share here. It amazes me that time has flown by. I do hope you enjoy the poem and the rest of this post.
SOVEREIGN LORD
Sovereign Lord, You have my heart. Yours to make whole. Within Your sight is every unclean room of my soul.
I have made them available for cleansing to be. I thank You even when that is hard for me.
You strengthen me when the going gets rough. You console my grief when words are not enough.
You hold me when loneliness seems to swallow me up. When I’m in need, Lord, You fill my cup. You love me despite my birthright into sin. Sovereign Lord, You have drawn me in.

God is still performing His cleansing work. I thank God that He still holds my hand. Should I reflect on what He’s brought me through, I would need to write a book. I accepted God as my Savior long before that. However, each day moves me closer to His Lordship. There are times when I believe I have given Him all of my heart, only to realize there is so much more. He is still peeling back the layers of my heart. God is faithful.
My adoration of God will never get old. I stand on the Rock. Psalm 18:2 – “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” He keeps His promises. 2 Samuel 22:31 – “As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.”
God bless you, and be encouraged.
