Going with the Flow

I wasn’t sure about posting today because when I got up I didn’t feel too great. However, today was my first day off in six. I decided I wasn’t going anywhere. Had an appointment that I changed. Going with the flow, you know.
At any rate, I pulled out my camera after reading some blog posts and commenting. I thought, “Just let me go out to the backyard and take pictures of whatever I see.” Did that. Ended up taking some of a football, tree, flowers as well as the skyline. Now, what to do with them? I love photography as well as writing. I have been hungry to do some major depth of field shots but don’t have the camera I want. I do have a Adobe CS 6 though. [Graphic design class software, part of the $65K.] Anyway, time to put it to use. Pulled up a site regarding depth of field and Photoshop. First one I pulled up worked splendidly. Who knew?
I still needed to go pay an urgent bill and went out for a while. Back at home, I pulled up the images I took and loaded them to the computer. After playing around with the depth of field, I added all the images above. I only added the depth of field to the first image. I did want to share because I see how natural the creativity came as I went with the flow of things today. As part of this journey, I know that everything is done to the glory of God. In going with the flow and not being too busy, I just wanted to relax today. Be led by what God wanted for me today.
The point here is this, after taking the images and really thinking about the flower, I am blessed because I know that God cares for me just like the flowers and the trees. God truly has stated His glory when we look around and understand the true beauty of nature. Nature just grows, we don’t have to help it along. We are not needed to bring spring forth, summer, winter or fall. We can just enjoy it all. Hope you enjoy the images!
Barbara Fisher – California – Hello there. My name is Barbara Fisher and I am a new on the blogosphere. I have thought about doing this for sometime as I can be very opinionated about things and sometimes too much for Facebook. I am a married and the mother of two adult children, and the grandmother of seven. I am a Christian and have recently just moved my membership to a Reformed Baptist Church. I retired December 2012, and that has afforded me this opportunity to not overwhelm Facebook with my thoughts. I hope you find my blog – thought provoking, engaging, and interesting. Please let me know what you think. This is one venue where your feedback is the juice craved to keep going and going.
Nice job my friend for going with the flow. Our journey is a lot like that as we don’t know what we will face day to day but we must trust our Father who does. For he has ordained it just for us.
I am such an A-type personality and that has proven to be one of my strengths. In that though, God has revealed Himself that He is still very much the one in control. That said, I was so blessed yesterday as I gave the day to Him.

So well said and the images are beautiful and complimentary to the topic. How much more will He do for us! Our savior is so good!😊
Thank you and yes, He will.
