Can you believe it, again? Greetings! I have been working on the details of my daily activities. I have added my steps to the agenda. My daily goal is 3,000 steps. Yes, I know others do more. However, to stay consistent, I have to keep the goal realistic. This is part of the SMART goal menu. My targeted goal is 5,000 steps. No, I am not interested in the 10,00 steps anymore. I did that in the past in my Amazon delivery days. I am committed to keeping my Today’s Scripture devotions and other spiritual commitments. That said, here is Today’s Scripture.
Today’s Scripture: Galatians 5:24-26:
“And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.” NKJV
The references to these verses speak to us making daily decisions as we state that we are committed to Christ. Those decisions aren’t always easy, but they are not impossible since nothing is impossible with God. We have been given His Word and the Holy Spirit. It is imperative that we put some work into this commitment. Philippians 2:12: “Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;” the Apostle Paul encourages believers to walk worthy of the calling. Some of the additional Scriptures I read were: Galatians 6:6; Galatians 6:14; Romans 8:3-5: and Philippians 2:3.
God bless you, and be encouraged.

Thanks, Sandra, for sharing your goals and progress. SMART goals work based on a God-given truth: our future comes one choice at a time. For example, the assurance of eternal life begins with the most important decision we can make. To improve our life’s trajectory, making wise choices will turn a negative trend line into a positive one.
Indeed, and Amen! I do appreciate your responses. They are an encouragement to me. We must begin making wise choices, starting with our relationship with God. I totally agree.
Likewise, Sandra, your posts encourage me, too! Praise God for all the brothers and sisters on this path of faith in Christ.
