Held on Thursday, 09/17/26, at the YMCA located at 4141 Meadows Lane.
The Senior Wellness Fair was a blast. It was very enjoyable this year. The event was held at the YMCA on Meadows in West Las Vegas. Archwell Health sponsored this year’s event.
Nevada Hand has worked this event for the last three years. United Healthcare has been present also. I don’t remember seeing Las Vegas Fire and Rescue last year. However, I appreciate the fact that the health and safety participants bring knowledge about the aging process and how to keep ourselves safe as well as helping ourselves in an emergency.
You can gather information about various services you may need in the future. Staying informed about certain risks related to your personal details is important.
The musical theme for the event was Motown. The fun part was remembering the artists who performed the songs. And yes, the Motown sound encouraged dancing. It was an enjoyable time while promoting self-care. The health participants had handouts and products to share. A light breakfast and lunch were provided.
All shapes, sizes, ages, and conditions were able to gather information that related to them. It’s nice to know we are not on this journey alone, whatever season we’re in. God bless you, and be encouraged.
