Greetings! I pray you have had a great day. Even remembering what happened on September 11th, twenty-five years ago. I lived in Los Angeles. I was in bed and just waking up for work. My ex-husband finished waking me up to share what was happening. It was quite frightening. I thank God I am still here. However, it doesn’t erase the loss so many experienced that day. It doesn’t remove the senselessness of so many lives lost to unnecessary violence.
As my day winds down, I am very grateful for each day the Lord blesses me to see. I keep my focus on the Lord and on fulfilling His purpose for my life. Today’s Scripture is Psalm 62:10-12: “Do not trust in extortion or put vain hope in stolen goods; though your riches increase, do not set your heart on them. One thing God has spoken, two things I have heard: ‘Power belongs to you, God, and with you, Lord, is unfailing love; and, “You reward everyone according to what they have done.”
Let us be grateful for the blessings of the Lord and do what He has called each of us to do. God bless you, and be encouraged.
