Greetings! I pray your Friday has been a great start to the weekend. Today has been so busy. But a good day. I had prayer early this morning, a Zoom meeting after that, some computer work, and then a cooking event being held for the residents. There was another event I wanted to attend but I needed to slow down. I am just winding down.
Being social helps us and others. I had a wonderful day with others today. Prayer with my sisters and brothers in Christ. An excellent learning summit with others in the coaching arena. And, a birthday social and cooking event here at the senior apartment complex. Each event fueled a different part of my psyche. While focusing on self-care, remember that at certain times that includes others.
Words of encouragement were given today to take the initiative when loneliness comes. Sometimes we have to reach out to others. The reminder today is to let others know when you have a need. There is a saying I heard many years ago. “A closed mouth doesn’t get fed.” God bless you, and be encouraged.
