Loving One Another_07/25/26

Greetings! I pray that you have had a great Saturday so far. I am enjoying my Saturday. It’s been quiet for most of the day. I’ve been doing computer work and online research. It is way too hot to be outside. It’s 111o around 4:20 p.m. I checked the weather for the next week. The temperatures will remain around this range.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: 2 Corinthians 2:5-9

Forgiveness and kindness to the brother or sister in trouble. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you as you deal with any given situation. God’s word has not changed. Galatians 6:1 – “Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself.”

Ephesians 4:32 – “Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.”

Colossians 3:13 – “Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.” Additional Scriptures: 2 Corinthians 10:3-6.

Today’s Scriptures are about how we are to treat one another even when things go awry. God has a standard even for our messes. Each of us is inclined to go left when things are not going our way. However, because we have a loving God, He provides a standard that keeps everyone safe. The key is our obedience. For instance, when God tells us to forgive, we must do so for the sake of the other person, but also for ourselves. Bitterness tends to grow like weeds if we are not careful to keep trimming. Bitterness brings destruction. Forgiveness brings healing.

It is not an easy process, but the more you practice applying the principles, the easier it does become. God bless you, and be encouraged.
