What Do Your Words Say About You?_07/21/26

Greetings! I pray you have had an awesome day. My day started with encouragement from Phillip Anthony Mitchell’s sermons, personal prayer, and TCC Bible study/prayer after that. We are studying angelology. Today was rich with the blessings of God. I learned new things even though I’ve read certain Scripture so many times before. I am adding more activity to my daily schedule.

Today’s Scripture: James 1:19-21

A quote from the Bible, James 1:19-21, displayed over a cloudy sky backdrop with a cityscape and industrial elements.

The tongue, the little member with the power to destroy. The book of James expounds on this member. We should beware of our tongues. They can be very unruly. Proverbs 10:19 – “Sin is not ended by multiplying words, but the prudent hold their tongues.” For more reading, additional Scriptures: James 3:3-12.

As I revisit Scripture, there is always a new insight from God’s word for us to apply. In this case, we must tame our tongues to the point that we don’t react; we respond. We honor God in all that we say and do. It takes practice. God bless you, and be encouraged.
