Greetings! It’s been a nice day for me. How has your day been? Today’s weather was nice here in Las Vegas. The high today was 99o. Spent time with my daughter and the grandkids.
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: ISAIAH 65:24
Isaiah 55:6 – “Seek the Lord while He may be found; call on Him while He is near.” Daniel 10:12 – “Then he continued, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.”
Some Scriptures bring me peace, and this is one of them. God reassures us that when we call on Him, He will answer. Now, this requires patience and trust. As you can see by Daniel’s account, sometimes the demon spirits get in the way. Since we are dealing with spiritual warfare, no way the devil wants you to receive God’s word. But we know that God’s word will accomplish what it is sent for. We have the victory in Christ. Knowing this, patience does its work. Sometimes we have to wait for an answer.
There is also the element of trust. Knowing that God keeps His promises increases my trust even when I have to wait. I do apply God’s word by renewing my mind to His truth. God bless you, and be encouraged.
