Greetings! I hope you have had a marvelous Monday. This post is another short and sweet reminder that self-control is not overrated. It is important for us all.
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: PROVERBS 29:11
This Scripture reinforces the importance of self-control. Self-control is evidence of those who walk in wisdom. Proverbs 12:16 – “A fool is quick-tempered, but a wise person stays calm when insulted.” Offense is a bait of satan used against believers. Additional Scripture to review: Job 5:2; 1 Samuel 25:25
Self-control is fruit of the Spirit. Let’s be controlled by the Spirit and not the flesh. God bless you, and be encouraged.

I love the source of that self-control, as emphasized by 2 Timothy 1:7 NLT. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.”
