Greetings! I pray you’ve had an awesome Sunday and that you were able to give thanks to God for all His goodness. I enjoyed my grandkids and my daughter’s company today before we went our separate ways. As I age, it is more important to me to treasure those I love while they are still here, and I am too.
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: PSALM 33:13-15
“From heaven the Lord looks down and sees all mankind; from His dwelling place He watches all who live on earth—He who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do.”
God sees all. How many actually believe this? If a person does, would that inspire more reverence for the Creator of all things? My reflection on this Scripture caused me to pause and really think about this. Do I care that God sees and considers everything I do? Yes, I do. When God’s word penetrates your heart, do you place value on Him considering what you do? God’s word has caused me to consider how I respond in every relationship, including my grandkids. I am not saying I have perfected this. However, I can see the change in myself.
Understanding that God sees all has influenced my reverence for God. We are accountable to God, now and later. I would rather have some accountability before God now. Hebrews 4:13 – “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.” We all will have to answer. My encouragement today is to consider how God sees you. Your relationship with God is more important than any other. I believe this because God leads you to examine your heart, particularly when it comes to others. God bless you, and be encouraged.
