TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: HEBREWS 12:28-19

Greetings! We are now in the middle of the year. Time is moving fast. These days, I am intentionally present to enjoy my days. I am thankful today for my daughters. They continue to surprise me as they deal with the challenges of adulthood. I encourage, support, but more than anything, I listen. Sometimes, we need to tell somebody how we feel. I don’t always have an answer. I accept and understand I don’t always need to. I am present for them. I pray to God to move in their lives for His glory.
Speaking of thankfulness, I am thankful to God. Acceptable worship for me is giving God His reverence on a daily basis. I am in awe of a God who loves me so much that while I was yet in sin, His Son died on the cross for me. I am thankful that I am here to appreciate this truth more and more each day. Nothing is absolutely perfect in my life except God, even as a consuming fire.
Jesus is coming back, and things will be made right. Let us exalt Him while we still can. Malachi 4:2 – “But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves.” 1 Thessalonians 1:6-7 “God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels.”
God bless you, and be encouraged.
