GLORIOUS-IMPACT

As someone who loves the Lord, I encourage others from a biblical perspective for spiritual transformation and freedom.

Today’s Scripture: Do You Love Him?

A quote from 1 Corinthians 2:9 overlaying a background of a tree against a blurred landscape.

Greetings! The wind is expressing it’s grievances or clearing the air for us. However, it is still warm. I prayed for those families whose loved ones were in service to our country yesterday. Prayers for those currently in service and their families should be lifted all year. This post will be short and sweet. I need to test my WP app again. Should it fall short, back to the browser I go. Have a blessed day!

1 CORINTHIANS 2:9

Do you love Him? I love Him because He first loved me. My life changed again after I accepted His love for me. I reflect on my journey with Christ, and one thing I realized a while ago is this. I was having major challenges because I refused to forgive myself. I was unaware that this perspective was impeding my growth in Christ. I also realized that who was I to not forgive myself if He did. How prideful and presumptuous of me to assume I was out of God’s reach. Christ died for us all. Am I perfect now? Of course not. However, I have been reconciled to God and my righteousness is in Christ Jesus, not in and of myself. What a great path to freedom! God bless you, and be encouraged.
