Romans 14:16-18
Greetings! It’s been a bit busy this week: apartment inspections and building upgrades. However, it is a good thing to get improvements. In a couple of weeks, appliances will be addressed. The weather is getting rather warm again. Stay hydrated. Here are some of my thoughts on the fruit of the Spirit. Righteousness, peace, and joy are the fruit of the Spirit. When we rest in God, obey His word, and are led by the Holy Spirit, we cannot help but bear fruit.
I did enjoy reading other Scripture to correlate this, such as Romans 15:13 – “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Hope in God is an anchor for the soul when things get chaotic. This is especially true when we have concerns about government leadership. I don’t say much about current political scenarios because they change from moment to moment, it seems. Hence, my anchor in the Lord. I trust that the peace I have will keep me grounded. I trust that God is still Sovereign. And, above all, I look forward to my eternal destination.
