Greetings! My hope and prayer for you is that the beginning of this week is blessing you. Today, I share my thoughts on communication with God. I have increased my prayer time, and I have noticed a significant difference in God’s presence. What’s interesting to note is that God doesn’t leave us nor forsake us. I am now more sensitive to His Holy Spirit.

I was blessed this morning as I went through several Scriptures that not only encourage prayer but call us to seek God’s face. One of my favorite Scriptures in this regard is Jeremiah 33:3 – “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”

When experiencing challenges in life, God encourages us to remember that we have a new covenant through Jesus that allows us to come boldly to the throne of grace. Hebrews 4:16 – “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

There is confidence in this because God keeps His promises to us. Isaiah tells us to “seek the Lord while He may be found” (Isaiah 55:6). When I think about the war between the flesh and the spirit, we inevitably need to make prayer a priority. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. Jesus told his disciples that they ought always to pray and never give up. (Luke 18:1)

Hebrews 10:35 – “Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.”

God bless you, and be encouraged.
