Greetings! I hope you are doing well this Saturday. It has been an awesome weekend so far here in Vegas. The wind is a little high and making major noises. However, I’m inside, obviously, and enjoying myself. I can’t believe are moving into the month of May already. Time is flying.
The Lord is near to us. We can call on the Lord when we desire the truth. Not my truth, not your truth, but the truth. Facts change, truth doesn’t. God’s word is the truth. Jesus Christ is the word. “Jesus Christ is same yesterday, today, and forever.” John 1:1 – “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The statement about truth stood out as I thought about my truth. What is my truth based on? My perspective and my experience make events real to me or truthfu. But, is it truth? If my experiences would have been different, my perspective would change. And yet, I call it truth. Facts change, but truth doesn’t. So, I concluded that I would continue to bank on God’s truth. Every time I open my Bible, the same word that was there yesterday is still there today.
That said, I know some will disagree with me. However, would that not be their perspective based on their experience? I just wanted to share my thought process today as I moved through the Scriptures. Be encouraged.
