Today’s Thoughts: Enjoying the Day with God_04/17/26

This is a duplicate post since I am working with WordPress to fix my conundrum. Greetings! I pray you are having a very satisfactory Saturday. I have enjoyed my day very much. What I realized about myself is that I like not rushing through my day and seeing the importance of being content. I enjoyed my day with God.

I enjoyed today’s Scripture reading. I was reminded of God’s goodness. His word blessed my soul because my heart’s desire is His word. Psalm 23:3 – “He renews my strength. He guides me along the right paths, bringing honor to his name.” Psalm 119:12 – “I praise you, O Lord; teach me your decrees.” Should you desire truth, read God’s word.

A quote from Psalm 143:8-10 overlaid on a background of pink flowers with green leaves, expressing a prayer for guidance and protection.

I will say that God’s word does bless my soul. He renews my strength and guides me along the right paths. His word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. God wants us to give Him the glory. As we appreciate the good He brings and that He gives us strength for the challenges, how can we not give Him all the praise? Being transparent, the more I read God’s word, the more I want to. At times, God’s word is very sobering. Through that, the Holy Spirit brings understanding, especially when it becomes a mirror for our souls. However, I have found that the changes I have incorporated in my life have been based on what I value, God’s word. It is an anchor for my soul. When life challenges have me on a fence, I have a standard that I use that never changes. God’s word is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

God bless you, and be encouraged.
