Greetings! I pray you are having a wonderful Saturday. I also pray a wonderful Resurrection Sunday tomorrow, God willing. Today’s word is short. I encourage you to fully commit yourself to God’s work in your life. Nothing you do for God is in vain. Let us celebrate our Risen Lord & Savior Christ Jesus.

I know that we cannot accomplish salvation by our means nor in ourselves. Salvation is reconciliation with God. Therefore, we have to go to God to be reconciled. That reconciliation is through Jesus Christ. We all fall short (Romans 5:10-12) because until we reconcile, we are enemies of God. 2 Corinthians 2:14 – “But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere.”

Romans 8:36-37 – “As it is written:’For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.’ No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” Christ died for us.  Let us continue the work God purposed in our hearts for his glory. When we consider the immortality of our very souls, does it not compel us to consider the significance of this death God’s word speaks about? Paul encourages Timothy to pursue the work of the Lord.

When we are in relationship with God and other believers, we are encouraged. We can pray to God and counsel with other believers who are in right relationship with Him. This is so not a solo journey.

God bless you and be encouraged.
