Greetings! I pray your day has started well and gets even better. As the weekend winds down, I want to encourage you. What brings you joy? When you think about what puts a smile on your face, makes your heart skip a beat, or makes you break out in song, what compels that? Just a thought for you to give thanks. I pray this day leads into a wonderful week.
My joy is found in His strength. Many of the Psalms speak of the joy we have in the Lord. Singing for joy and praising Him for His unfailing love is a result of His love for me from the beginning of creation. Psalm 92:4 – “For you make me glad by your deeds, Lord; I sing for joy at what your hands have done.” Praise God for what He has done in your life. Reflection on your life should bring clarity on the goodness of God.
His good deeds toward you may not always seem apparent. However, giving thanks as you think about it brings joy. Thanks and praise become a compelling force. Additional Scriptures speak of celebrating God’s abundant goodness and joyfully singing of His righteousness. His mercy endures forever. Additional Scriptures: Psalm 145:7 / Psalm 32:7 / Psalm 90:14 / Psalm 33:1. Visit the Scriptures. These are just a few. God’s word is rich in encouragement for our souls.
God’s word gives me hope. I do thank God that being here on earth is not all there is. And, I am thankful that even while I am here He has provided a way to navigate the journey. I pray you are encouraged. I understand you may not believe as I do, however, I still want to encourage you in that there is always hope.
God bless you and be encouraged.
