Happy Friday. I pray you are doing well and have had a great day so far. Today’s Scripture is Ephesians 6:10-13. I want to share my thoughts on this Scripture to encourage us all. This is the beginning of the new year. We need to put on the whole armor of God and keep it on for the rest of the year. We have our weapons. Let us dive in with our whole hearts and praise God for His mercy and grace. God bless you, and be encouraged.
God has provided our weapons of warfare. Our weapons are not carnal, but mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against the authorities and powers of this dark world. We wrestle against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6:12). This is a reminder that the earthly realm is not all there is. Our home is in heaven. Isaiah 26:3 – “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.”
You might ask why I encourage from Scripture. God’s word is the same yesterday, today, and forever. As we strive to improve ourselves and our lives, the standard we use is crucial. Because God’s standard doesn’t change, contrary to culture, which is constantly evolving, we can rest assured that our change will last. God wants what is best for us. That may even differ from what we want for ourselves. I come back to the question I consistently ask. Do you trust Him?
