I pray you are doing well today. I share my thoughts on God’s word today. Its value is immeasurable. Being honest with myself this year, I cannot go without it. My core values are based on what God has to say. Why? Because God’s word is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Motives matter because why else would God’s word judge the thoughts and attitudes of the heart?
This Scripture reveals that if you really desire self-awareness, compare your thoughts and actions to God’s word. It’s a mirror. It shows you who you are. When you are ready to hear and receive the truth, and it can be brutal, you find out who you really are. But there is hope. 1 Peter 1:23 -“For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.” God’s word is not chained. (2 Timothy 2:9) God states that His word will accomplish what He desires and will achieve the purpose for which it was sent. (Isaiah 55:10-11)
The more I stay in God’s word, the deeper it impacts. I am excited for 2026. My focus this year is to deepen my relationship with the Lord. I have other goals as well. I desire to work more with my writing, photography, and coaching. I did not forget about reading. That goal is 25 books. Learning new skills when necessary, but ultimately work on mastering the current ones.
Forgive me, I digress. I can do another post with more details about my goals. However, I encourage you today to read God’s word and become more self-aware, for God’s glory. I understand our culture is about bigger and better. Learning to define and nurture the gifts and talents God has given you is a major part of the change I advocate. As a life coach, I hope to ask you the questions that help you move forward. You have the answers you need. What answers you don’t have, God does. His word will help you see clearly.
My focus is excellence. Mastering God’s word in my life is the priority. Then master everything else after that. I pray this encourages you and spurs you to action because action is the great motivator. God bless, and be encouraged.
