Today’s thoughts are about being honest with yourself. Do you know who you are? What do you believe and why do you believe it? While the Christian arena is very chaotic these days, there will be no excuse valid enough to alter your eternal destination when you deny Jesus Christ. I am being blunt right now, but with love. I would rather have you dismiss me rather than Him.

False prophets help perpetuate and multiply deception. Deception is a simple thing for the enemy when you are unaware of the truth. When your anchor is truth, it is difficult for the enemy to deceive you. What is truth? God’s word is truth. It doesn’t change. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8) Culture changes, opinion changes, and facts change. Both fall into a ditch when followers blindly follow blind leaders. There may come a time when you must answer for what you believe before Jesus returns, putting you in a position to get ready. His mercy and grace giving you another opportunity to say yes to Him. Is that day today?

Your soul is valuable to God and the enemy. The enemy wants to steal that value from the Kingdom of God by any means necessary. He only comes to steal, kill, and destroy you. God knows your value and has called you into the kingdom. God’s lovingkindness is immeasurable in that with all that He has done, He still gives us the option to choose Him. While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

Choosing may not be the easiest thing to do, nor the most comfortable. However, you must choose the biblical definition of your value, not the enemy’s. Every one of us faces a judgment day. (Hebrews 9:27) Be blessed and encouraged.
