It is a given that each individual will choose their specific spiritual path. However, the way to God, the Creator, is Jesus Christ. At the risk of ruffling some feathers, Jesus Christ is the only true way to God. The first definition is: of, relating to, or consisting of spirit; incorporeal. The second definition is: of or relating to the spirit or soul, as distinguished from the physical nature. These definitions were taken from dictionary.com.

The following Scripture establishes that Jesus is the way in His own words.

John 14:6 – “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

I am emphasizing the need for Jesus, who gives eternal life. It is not an option. The soul is immortal, and there is an eternal destination. There is a great deal of information available for spiritual seekers. However, you must determine if you are seeking spiritual satisfaction here on earth or seeking God through the Lord Jesus Christ for eternity.

When considering how to pen my thoughts on this subject, I desire to be respectful. It is your personal choice. The presence of additional information and perspective allows you to make a better choice. I know that, for me, I wouldn’t be here without Jesus. Surely, physical death is coming for each of us. However, since the soul is immortal, the destination is chosen here on earth. I do not claim to have all the answers. I understand that I am not to lean on my own (earthly) understanding. Reading God’s word allows me to be guided, led by the Spirit of God.

My relationship with God is the priority for sanity in the chaos and the peace that passes all understanding. Philippians 4:7 – “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Considering the political climate, wars, rumors of wars, and the extremes of natural disasters of fire and water, I want to be in the right relationship with God. Jesus did say that He gives us His peace. John 14:27 – “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not be troubled and do not be afraid.” I add to that Scripture this one. John 16:33 – “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

It’s interesting that as I write this post, I have learned that another senior has passed on from this life. I say this because some may not appreciate my perspective on Jesus. However, the days are passing rather quickly, and I would be amiss if I did not share the good news of Jesus Christ. I plant a seed. Choosing Christ remains your choice.

Be blessed and encouraged.
