GLORIOUS IMPACT: Biblical encouragement & edification

Encouragement, edification, and empowerment from a biblical perspective for true transformation.

Thoughts and Reflections on 06/18/25

Happy Wednesday! It’s been quite hot here in Las Vegas. Early summer and this whole week is in the three digit temperatures. I pray that all the fathers were honored this past Sunday. Where would we be without them?

It’s been a weird week for me on the creative end. What’s happening politically may have been distracting. What’s happening on the spiritual front may have been distracting. I have resolved to stay in prayer. The contribution I am led to make right now is to encourage each to work out their own salvation with fear and trembling. Philippians 2:12 – “Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed–not only in my absence–continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill His good purpose.”

I can sound the alarm that we must repent and be saved, but the power is all God’s. While many just want to help others, it is important to remember that the final decision is between them and God. Each individual was born in sin. The consequences are the same for all, whether we like it or not; agree or not. Yes, my sentimental side is showing today. Our discussions don’t have to always be about business.

I can sound the alarm that we must repent and be saved, but the power is all God’s. While many want to help others, it is important to remember that the final decision is between each individual and God.

I have to say that I may be speaking from my heart because we lost another tenant to death this past week. It is inevitable as we age. Time is moving so fast, it seems you blink your eyes and the kids are grown. The blessing is aging well.

Starting this post today, I wasn’t planning on being on a soapbox. I must confess though that I am always led back to the Lord and declaring His goodness first and foremost in my life. I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for His grace and mercy. For many, it is important to understand that the freedom to share your innermost tips for peace, sanity, growth, and change is varied for a large group. However, the soul needs what it needs. The soul needs the Lord for eternal life.

The life we now know is very fragile. However, God is still in control. My hope is in Him for His divine will and purpose to transpire. Today, I share my heart.

Be blessed.
