I pray that you are doing well this Wednesday. I am grateful that we can go directly to the throne of grace for help in time of need.
The following Scripture, 1 Corinthians 2:9, spoke to me today because I have hope in God. He is faithful to His promises; there is more to life than what is temporary here on earth. I say that to say this is one of the Scriptures I hold onto when the curveballs start coming. I speak about having an anchor often. God’s word is my anchor. It changes my thought process from doubt, fear, and worry for the brief moments when they come. It causes me to say, “Lord, I trust You. No matter what it looks like, I trust You.”
My mindset is to keep my hope in Christ. What’s happening today may be uncomfortable, but it’s reassuring to know that God is sovereign. He is allowing what’s going on to happen. Trusting in His purpose for the United States may be daunting, but He is in control.
I hope to be encouraging. What can we do otherwise? Nothing other than trust God and maintain the peace of God. Our mindset plays a pivotal role in this effort. What is your view of God? Do you trust Him? Do you believe He is fully invested in your well-being? These are questions you have to answer for yourself. The answers will reveal to what you truly believe.
The above Scripture states that God has some awesome things in store for those who love Him. The key element to remember here is that it is not only here on earth. The prosperity of our souls is important.
Be blessed.

I believe that God is bigger than all of the most powerful people put together. Infinitely bigger, more than I can comprehend. But I admit my faith is tested at times.
I truly understand. That is why God’s word is my anchor.
