I pray you are having an awesome Saturday! I returned home from the hospital a week ago yesterday. I have had to regain my strength and footing. Returning to my schedule was not the priority. Returning to health was the priority.
As I recover from pneumonia and a few other ailments, I must take it slow. Although I have discussed the challenges of aging before, I needed to remind myself that I am included in that group. A younger me would have been recovering from a cold or the flu. I had to recover from pneumonia. Okay, enough of that. I praise God I got to the hospital, got admitted, and let God’s hands and feet take care of me.
I did take the time to reconnect with my Savior and understand my priorities. My priority is to share God’s goodness despite what we go through. Our experiences and circumstances do not dictate our identity in Christ, nor do they negate God’s love for us. In all our experiences, it is necessary to remember that God wants the best for us.
Our struggles strengthen us for the journey. God did not promise smooth sailing, but He promised never to leave us or forsake us during the trying times.
I seek to abide with Christ where I am continually aware of His fullness from within me, where His presence dwells in me in glory. This statement expresses my heart. It was taken from Holiness, Truth, and the Presence of God by Francis Frangipane. This book is a great one for changing perspective to that of Christ.
As I come to the end of this post, there was a question that was also posed in what I recently read. It is: Is God close enough to you to hear your whisper? A question for you to ponder.
Be blessed.

Welcome back. I’m glad you are better.
