Thoughts about My Relationship with the Lord

I pray you are having a fabulous Friday. The wind is being aggressive today. I appreciated the nice weather of the past couple days. Glad I don’t have to venture out today.

God has revealed His character of faithfulness to me in more depth. Over the years, He has not left me. I know God will get me through no matter what I have gone through. His goodness is more real to me today than ever because He is with me through every storm

I share my journey because I have to give God the glory for my life. Past events show me that without God’s loving protection I would not be here. This influences my commitment to gratitude and giving thanks.

Ephesians 5:20 – “giving thanks always for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In all fairness, God fulfilling His purpose for my life is why I’m still here. Yet, I get to enjoy it. That’s not dismissing the challenges that have come along though.

God has promised that He would never leave us nor forsake us. He’s there through every challenge. I have had to release my expectations for a desired end and trust that God knows what’s best for me. Even the impact of this minimizing journey has made an unexpected difference. When I release what I want the expected end to be, I am at peace because God will bless everyone in a certain situation. God is not just working on and through me in a given situation. He is working in and through all who will allow the work to be done.

Some might say, “Why is she always talking about the Lord?” How can I not?Be blessed.
