Confidence and Credit Where It’s Due

My confidence is built by my faith in God because He keeps His word. When I consider my faith journey, it is evident that God keeps His promises. Looking back, seeing how God’s grace brought me through, how can I not give Him praise?

Witness the audacity of many who credit themselves with success, riches, and influence. It is because even in pride and selfish ambition, God sees fit to let you keep breathing.

As you fulfill your purpose-whether it be writing, coaching, teaching, whatever you put your hand to do-remember to give God the glory. This is one motivator for me to remember that it is about helping others. Why do you do what you do? There is a difference between confidence and audacity. Confidence for me is fueled by what God is doing in me and through me.

Serving others helps define your purpose. Walk out what you are called to do. Action defines what is needed and what is futile. Trusting God and praying for clarity to fulfill His purpose is a move of faith. There are times when what’s next is clouded.

I share these things because I know what I’ve walked through on this coaching journey. I had a desire to help others but not according to knowledge. My desire was real but my inability to do so effectively was also. At one point, I thought I was on the wrong track. However, as I stood on my faith and took action, God has brought clarity.

Be blessed.
