I Am A Child of God

The new year is here, and it has thrown me curve balls. Insurance is changing for seniors, at least in Nevada. Mine has. The extra allowance for food was taken away, along with the extra finances for additional payments for glasses, dental work, etc. My budget is like a girdle now; I bought one size that is too small and squeezing too tightly.

I also write about the changes seniors go through as they transition in this aging phase. I have to remind myself that God has me covered. He is my provider. There is a tendency to get comfortable with things. However, as our world continually reminds us, the only constant is change.

This, of course, is one of the reasons I stand on God’s word. No matter what other changes occur, I must trust God. He has not failed me yet. He is faithful to His promises. I am dealing with small difficulties right now. It does not escape me that those in Los Angeles are dealing with more serious matters.

We are all dealing with something. I get to share my journey with you. I have also lifted a few other things in prayer. Praying for wisdom and protection is so important because the enemy works behind the scenes to throw fiery darts. I am sharing the post below by a fellow writer, Malcolm because it was an encouraging reminder that I am a child of God. He referenced Isaiah 41:10, one of my favorite Scriptures.

I am excited to share his post because we all need encouragement. My heart is to encourage others. However, I do appreciate it when others encourage me. Be blessed.
