Happy Saturday! Yet sobering for many. Prayers go up for those in Los Angeles. Cover them in your prayers. While there is a massive loss, God is still the true provider. Starting over is never easy. Considering those impacted by the destructive fires in California, many are starting from nothing. Again. Some can replenish materially, and others cannot. It is also important to pray for the emotional safety and stability of those who can replenish materially. They may have finances, yet no one expresses care for or about them.

Rebuilding is a long and arduous process. My prayers are for all those in dire straits, emotionally and financially. I pray that God holds those responsible for purposely causing destruction accountable.

Romans 8:35 – “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

There are consequences for choices made and actions taken. It is often overlooked that many of our experiences are the result of choices we make or those made by others who do not care about the destruction of others. I do believe getting through yet another major challenge is not impossible with God (Luke 1:37).

God has not abandoned anyone. His love for you is faithful. The above Scripture may not sound comforting in our physical displacement, financial loss, and emotional pain. However, it is comforting to know you will get through whatever challenges have come about. The prayers of the saints are a necessary help to those hurting. Giving them strength and hope to get through these challenges.

I have much compassion for those who are at a loss right now. I have been homeless before myself. However, I encourage you today that God is faithful to care for you. This reason compels me to stand on praising God that I am still here. I don’t look like what I’ve been through. And if I did, I am still here. Glory to God!

My prayers are for all of us. Compassion and understanding are needed right now. Let us stand together for those hurting.

Be blessed.

I have friends who are still rebuilding from tornado destruction last May. It is terribly difficult. My prayers go out for those facing catastrophic loss. You are right, God is our strength in times of trouble.
