Happy Friday! God bless you. Today, I am sharing why I put questions in my writing. The questions are to consider where you are and where you want to go. Should I ask, “How do you feel right now?” Your answer to yourself would allow you to explore your emotions.
The answer will help you explore your self-awareness. Today, I feel thoughtful and reflective. I have an answer. My next question is why or what is influencing those feelings. I got up early this morning and read the word of God. I started with Psalm 104:1-35 about God’s creation in nature. Then I read John 20:24-31 about seeing and believing Jesus from Thomas’ point of view. From there, I read Ephesians 4:25-32 about how we should treat each other and not grieve the Holy Spirit.
These readings caused me to be thoughtful on several points. How blessed I am to see God’s beauty in nature. Being moved by God’s grace in the Holy Spirit helps me believe and trust God. Being reflective, I see how far God has brought me since I first believed in Him. Being incomplete until Christ returns, I am just so grateful I am not where I used to be.
We have so much to be thankful for. I am grateful for the time to be quiet this morning, being thoughtful and reflective. Although challenging at times, I am glad for maturity. Being able to ask myself the hard questions and then answer them is growth. Well, why don’t we praise God?
Be blessed.
