Sometimes Tearing Down is Needed to Rebuild

What beliefs are you holding on to that keep you from growing? Beliefs that keep you from improvement. Beliefs that keep you from the richness and fullness of life.

Ogden Pines, a Las Vegas family apartment building, is being rebuilt. Las Vegas has been undergoing construction and rebuilding all over the city, including streets and underground pipe work. However, to make Las Vegas better, this is a necessary process. I was thinking about the crane tearing down this building, piling up the rubbish, and tossing it in the trash containers provided to remove the debris. What do you need to toss?

This reconstruction may inconvenience me for a short while. But I am looking forward to the improvement. New neighbors to meet and connect with.

When improvement is desired, consideration must be given to what is holding you back. What do you need to change? There is a need to toss out what isn’t working anymore. Rebuilding cannot be successful until the removal of what is in the way of improvement. Some are ready for change and more than willing. Others, not so much.

Be blessed.

Good analogy, so much truth. I need to tear down some of my personal beliefs and focus on the eternal. Not always easy when the earthly is right in front of you.
