Hello. I pray you all had a blessed Sunday! I was unsure of what I wanted to write today. However, I read Romans 6:14-16 (NLT) earlier. What stood out to me was the phrase “sin is no longer your master.” Master, hmmm. A thought to ponder. Master references training, molding, shaping and establishing a pattern for others. It is believed that everyone has a master and patterns themselves accordingly. Who is your master? When your flesh, satan, or the world is the master, we have no freedom. As believers in Jesus Christ, we have the freedom to choose who we will pattern ourselves after. Consider your life at this specific moment. Who is your master? Your flesh, the world, or satan are the choices other than Jesus Christ. Something to ponder.
