There is so much going on right now. I have reminded myself several times today that God is sovereign. He is totally in control of what’s happening. Checking out the media, Trump is being hailed the new hero. Biden has stepped down. Biden endorses Kamala Harris as the new Democratic nominee.

My mindset is “Lord, I am waiting to see what You are doing?” This is not a political declaration for or against any party or person. My posture is “Be still and know that I am God.”

Staying abreast of what’s going on can be a distraction from keeping our eyes on Jesus. I balance by getting into the word of God. I am taking more photos and directing more energy to this area of creativity. I pray that whatever happens, God’s will be done for His praise and glory.
