“It came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them; and carried up into heaven.” Luke 24:51 NKJV
He ascended and sat down at the right hand of God. Jesus did what only He could. He died and rose. In obedience to the Father, He brought us redemption, grace, and peace. We have what we need to navigate this life’s journey here on earth. We have His word to never leave us nor forsake us.
Hebrews 11:5 – 6 – “Let your conduct be without covetousness, be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me.” NKJV
I added verse six because by His grace we have the boldness to trust that He keeps His word. God does not lie. And yet, in all of that. He also gave us His Holy Spirit. We have redemption, grace, peace, His Holy Spirit, and His word.
John 14:27 – “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives to I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
John 14:17 – “the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.” NKJV
Therefore, I encourage you today. We have what we need. What’s left to receive.? You have power by His Holy Spirit. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Phillippians 4:3 NKJV
Take hold of the Lord today. He won’t let you go.
Be blessed.
