Hi, I’m Sandra. This post will be a little different as I share part of my Master’s degree journey with you. I do appreciate you sharing your time to view this post.
My expectations of the course were not specific. I knew I would be learning new skills. This course met those expectations and then some. I learned more about myself in tenacity and pushing forward. Trees represent that for me. No matter the storm they keep growing.

I learned that with understanding I push through the challenging part. This course brought to the surface attributes that were buried. One of my favorite Scriptures is Proverbs 4:7 – “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.”
I enjoyed the assignments of interviewing others. I like the opportunity to learn about others to see where we may differ but also see how much we have in common. There is a place of connectedness that works for me.
This month could have been better if my time management had been in place earlier. My purpose now is to be a place to help others move forward. This course has strengthened me in that purpose and provided some clarity. Following are some of the links gathered for additional research from the story of Aging and Retirement as well as having a growth mindset.
