How Does Construction Correlate with Mindset and Change?
This post deals with mindset, change, and construction. How are they tied together? Mindset needs to change when you get to the point you feel stuck. Our lives can turn into that construction zone. This video is of just a small part of the construction going on in Las Vegas. But construction is needed. Whatever the motivation, things need to change. You must tear down – old patterns of thinking – and reconstruct. Replace the old and negative with new and positive. Take the time to invest. Your efforts pay off in the long run.
In viewing the chaos caused by the construction, detours were in place. There are times when you must take a detour to get where you need to go. When the obstacles impede progress, change needs to take place. Change is a continual process. It is journey not a destination. Continue to grow, continue to change.
The businesses and homes that were inconvenienced were there. With the construction tools, trucks, the cones, etc., the people just had to keep going and adjust accordingly. They are currently displaced. Out of their comfort zones. But the vision of what is on the other side of completion, is worth the inconvenience. What vision do you have?
We do have to look at the big picture sometimes to determine the details. Navigating change is not easy, but necessary. One point of the construction zones is that it does get messy. You cannot control every facet of change. You control you. Stay focused and motivated. Certainly, you need to reach out for the support and help you need to get a great start. No construction is ever performed by just one person. Many are involved. Personal change is the same. Support is important. At times, you may need to change up. Keep building.

One response to “Construction, Mindset & Change”
This is so true and so important to remember as we go through life. Such simple and practical words of wisdom and so powerful. I am always amazed at the progress in technology and how construction makes way for new opportunities. It may take time and it gets messy but the process is worth it.
