Better Choices for 2022

Making better choices for your life. It is time. Instead of suffering consequences that can be minimized or avoided altogether, consider the choice you make in any given moment. A lot of times it is stated that a negative action is who that person is. It is not, it is a choice. That choice then turns into consequences you have to deal with because you chose to act a certain way. For instance, you get loud and obnoxious because a manager in the store refused to return your money. Now, you could appeal to the manager, find out if there is another alternative, or let it go and move on.

As I move in 2022, it is apparent that this is a significant place to be. It has been on my mind that we have to change as individuals. We have to take stock of where we’ve been, where we are, and where we are going. What are your values? What do you believe? Do you make choices based on your values or on your impulses? These questions are those you need to ask yourself. If you don’t know the answers, it is imperatve that you get them. Instead of living life in constant chaos, dealing with consequences that you don’t want to or have to, live mindfuly. Be mindful of your thought process. That is the beginnig of change, your thoughts. Change what you feed your mind in order to change your mind.

It behooves me to share that change doesn’t come overnight. That you will have to work on changing. Decide on at least one small thing and do it every single day until it becones a habit. After it does, make another decision of one small change, and move on that. Add it to what you are already doing. Slowly but surely, you begin transforming your life. Not from the outside in but from the inside out.
