cropped-20160801_201250.jpegThere is such a sweetness in my spirit today for God’s faithfulness. I have become employed full-time and as I adjust to the time requirements for this, I have to adjust my writing time. I will be posting three times a week. My first priority is to God, of course. Then, attention to the job. However, my call to write and be an encouragement to others is still also a priority. As He continues to move in my life, I adjust accordingly. That said, I would like to say that God keeps His promises. Sometimes we don’t know the difference between “no” and “wait” because waiting does look like a “no” on the surface. However, when we trust Him, we see things play out. Waiting is hard because of this. Not sure, keep trusting. Can’t see, keep trusting. When He then begins to show His moves, you see things happen.

There are other changes coming. There is something to be said for His grace. His grace is sufficient. Always has been, but when you come to know that you know that, it is such a sweet place to be. I have been changed through all the things that I have gone experienced. Strength in Him is the anchor to my soul. I have found a church home and am excited about that as well. I must say that the time I did not have that church home, I was still focused on God. We must have that solid personal relationship with Him so that when He shows us our direction, we obey. Obedience is necessary if we want all that God has for us. Fulfilling His purpose and call for our lives is the goal. Eternity with Him is the destination.

  1. Barbara Fisher – California – Hello there. My name is Barbara Fisher and I am a new on the blogosphere. I have thought about doing this for sometime as I can be very opinionated about things and sometimes too much for Facebook. I am a married and the mother of two adult children, and the grandmother of seven. I am a Christian and have recently just moved my membership to a Reformed Baptist Church. I retired December 2012, and that has afforded me this opportunity to not overwhelm Facebook with my thoughts. I hope you find my blog – thought provoking, engaging, and interesting. Please let me know what you think. This is one venue where your feedback is the juice craved to keep going and going.

You’ve said it! “Not sure, keep trusting. Can’t see it, keep trusting.” If we would only not fret when it doesn’t happen as expected and rest in knowing God is in complete control over all things, even our lives. As R.C. Sproul says: “There are no maverick molecules in the universe.” He’s got it all. Your full-time job came about exactly the point in time ordained by God. San, I am encouraged by your journey. But posting 3x a week? I’m struggling for once a week and failing! I applaud you, and praise God with you.

    1. This may be a bit ambitious. Working 11 to 8 M-F. I have committed to the intercessory prayer at least twice a week. So, it’s as the Lord leads. At the present, at the 2nd annual women’s tea party for the church.

  2. fearlessinjesuschrist – Hendersonville NC – About I had a successful career as a teacher and a senior level nonprofit executive. Since retiring, I have been assisting my aging parents. I am active as a volunteer at the Billy Graham Training Center in Asheville, NC. I love to read, play Mahjongg, play brain games on my tablet and swim (which is my real love). I love the Lord and am active in my church. I try each day to live out 2 Corinthians 3:3–"clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart." When suddenly I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 60, signs along the way in my life became clear. My faith, independence, and fearlessness in life were threatened. You are invited to share my struggles and find the Hope I have. My book, Fearless, is how I worked through various trials and tribulations to find the fearless spirit I thought I lost. I give God all the glory for never giving up on me!

Good post! Yes God will always speak even when we can’t understand. But he never leaves us in the dark. He will continue to speak. He loves us too much to leave us where you are. His plan is abundant life!
