God is Glorified

20160421_192851Today I would like to say that God is glorified in so much that we see all around us in nature. I do not worship nature, I worship God. I do enjoy nature very much, though. Moments when you have to stop and catch your breath. I appreciate His glory when I see images like the photo added here. I was working and after delivering food to the customer saw this image and had to take it. I look forward to the new camera because I will be able to take different aspects of the same image. A different image in depth of field or a telephoto shot will make different statements, I’m sure.

In sharing today, it is the simplicity of the glory of God. No matter what, nature shows off God’s brilliance in moments captured like these. His creativity is more than we can embrace in our finite minds. Moments like these remind me that there is the one true God, the great I Am, the Creator.

I like the fact that tree seems to be reaching to the sky, like we should be. I like the contrast of the sun setting and the image of the tree amidst the golden hues of the sun. The tree is parallel to another line in the sky seemingly reaching further into the heavens. There is a light in the distance. God is always our light, near and far. Jesus is nearer than a brother and the light is in us by His Holy Spirit. In capturing this image, I capture a part of my heart when it comes to my God, my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

  1. Lyf Mindset Strategies – US – My initial instinct is to see the world as I desire, but I have a realistic perspective; therefore, I am forced to see the world as it is. My analytical approach to societal occurrences is reflective in my writings. The writings are variations of social issues which are representative of the elements of individualism.

Today is a beautiful day. I too look around and see the brilliance of our Creator who is the creator of nature and all things. For this reason, when I see His creation, I see Him. Thanks for sharing this post as a reminder we are to admire his creation.

  2. Barbara Fisher – California – Hello there. My name is Barbara Fisher and I am a new on the blogosphere. I have thought about doing this for sometime as I can be very opinionated about things and sometimes too much for Facebook. I am a married and the mother of two adult children, and the grandmother of seven. I am a Christian and have recently just moved my membership to a Reformed Baptist Church. I retired December 2012, and that has afforded me this opportunity to not overwhelm Facebook with my thoughts. I hope you find my blog – thought provoking, engaging, and interesting. Please let me know what you think. This is one venue where your feedback is the juice craved to keep going and going.

Beautiful Sandra. I too love the beauty and splendor of God’s creation.

  3. David Ettinger – Orlando, Florida – Born and raised Jewish in New York, I moved to New Mexico in 1979. I got married in 1980, earned my BA in English in 1981, became a father in 1983, earned my MA in English in 1985, got divorced in 1986, and gave my life to Jesus Christ that same year. I have been walking with the Lord ever since. I began my journalism career in 1980, writing for The Roundup, the school paper of New Mexico State University. In 1981, I became a sportswriter for the Las Cruces (New Mexico) Sun-News, and eventually became an editor. I worked at the El Paso (Texas) Herald-Post as an editor/writer from 1987-1997. I worked at the El Paso Times in the same capacity from 1997-2001. In 2001, I moved to Orlando, FL, where I was the writer/editor at The Holy Land Experience until 2005. I served as writer/editor at First Baptist Church of Orlando from 2005-2010. I currently work at Zion's Hope, Inc. in Winter Garden, Florida. I also taught English Comp at Valencia College in Orlando from 2010-2012. I have been published in various Lifeway publications, Single Parent magazine (Focus on the Family), Zion's Fire magazine, and Real Life magazine. Additionally, I served as managing editor for Zion's Fire and Real Life. In all, I have written more than 800 articles, about 300 of which are Christian-related. My book, "Overcomers: 30 Stories of Triumph from the Bible", was released in May 2015.

“God is always our light, near and far. Jesus is nearer than a brother and the light is in us by His Holy Spirit.” Very well said. Amen.

  4. Matthew Winters (Honest Thoughts from a Pastor) – Born and raised in Portsmouth, VA, I eventually landed in upstate SC because when God calls I move. I gave my life to Christ in 1987 and surrendered to the call to ministry in 1997. I am a three-time graduate from Liberty University and Theological Seminary: BS in Religion (2003), the MA in Religion (Leadership concentration – 2006), and the Master of Divinity (Pastoral Ministries – 2013). I have served as a worship leader and senior pastor in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia since 1996. After experiencing a divorce, God graciously gave me my wife, Jennifer, whom I married in September 2015. Between the two of us, we have 7 children. Jennifer and I both love people and long to see them enter into a relationship with Christ and walk in the power of His Spirit. I pray that these thoughts I share will challenge and inspire you to greater heights and deeper depths for the glory of Christ.

“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament shows forth His handiwork” (Ps. 19:1). We don’t have to look far to see the hand of God. Beautiful post!
