Happy Valentine’s Day with Expressions of Gratitude

Expressions of gratitude are here today. This is mid-February and I am truly energized not only with my commitment to writing but am refueling my passion for photography. I see more of my creativity rising to the surface. More than anything, I see God allowing me to be open with myself and focus on more than circumstances. One thing I am truly grateful for is all the bloggers I have come know through this community. There are some great storytellers among you. There are passionate Believers among you (definitely inspired to encourage and inspire others in their walk). There is a plethora of creative people who have cared enough to share. I truly enjoy the mornings because I get to read these blogs and open my heart to fellow creatives. From teachers, singers, musicians, artists, coaches, etc., it is an awesome journey to share with them. You can see my list of those I follow and choose to share with them as well. Or, follow someone from one of their blog list. The list is a ripple affect and I certainly am enjoying the ride.

God’s Masterpiece

God's Masterpiece

I want to speak about being God’s masterpiece today.  In our sermon from last night’s church service, I was blessed by the reminder that we are the masterpiece of God.  Each of us have the opportunity to allow God to mold us in such a way that we would be a work that would testify to His glory.

The Scripture used was Jeremiah 18 where God speaks to him about the potter and the clay.  The potter must possess the clay or have it in his hands in order to mold the shape and transform it into a work of art.  We must surrender to God in order for Him to transform us.  We have this awesome opportunity to become God’s precious work that will be completed upon Jesus’s return.  Or, we can refuse to surrender and become an unfinished work.  I pray for the body of believers and any new believers the following Scripture: Philippians 1:6 – “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” (NLT)
