TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: ZEPHANIAH 3:17

Greetings! I hope that your Saturday has been pleasant. I am enjoying the quiet of my apartment right now. I had my grandkids earlier. This week has been busy. My grandson was in the hospital this week for an infection in his right eye. He came home last night looking much better. This morning proved him to be almost back to normal since he decided to torture his sister a bit this morning. I was glad to have him back to normal, and that he didn’t need surgery. I thank Him for His mercy and grace to all of us this week.

It amazes me how expressive God is about His love for us. God promises to bless our lives when we commit to loving Him. The blessings of God are not exclusive to physical things. Jeremiah 32:41 – “I will find joy doing good for them and will faithfully and wholeheartedly replant them in this land.” I have read the Bible from cover to cover, yet reading this Scripture, I felt like I had never read it before. I am pleased with how God’s word makes me feel. I am comforted by this Scripture because it expresses God’s love for us. I understand that it speaks directly to the children of Israel. As an heir, I can hold onto the promises of God for comfort, grace, and mercy.

God bless you, and be encouraged.

  1. katiesencouragementforyou – I have been writing a blog since 2019 , and published a few of my blogs with Her View From Home. I am a grateful believer in Jesus Christ. He has been telling me for many years to start writing. I asked Him how I should get started, and He told me to start with a blog–to write to encourage others–to tell my stories–stories of being a mom, stories of losing a child, stories of life—to show others what He looks like reflected through my life.

I liked hearing about your week, and your grandchildren. 🙂 I’m grateful with you that your grandson’s eye is better, (even if your granddaughter’s life gets more difficult because of it. 🙂 I love how you injected humor into that observation. 🙂 And I loved the verse you shared: Jeremiah 32:41 – “I will find joy doing good for them and will faithfully and wholeheartedly replant them in this land.” I’m at a time in my life where verses that offer hope and a future–are greatly appreciated. So thank you so much!
