GLORIOUS IMPACT: Biblical encouragement & edification

Encouragement, edification, and empowerment from a biblical perspective for true transformation.

Today’s Scripture: 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 | 03/26/26

A blurred background featuring leaves with a quote from 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 NIV about the things God has revealed to those who love Him.

Good morning and God bless you. I pray you are doing very well. I am very thankful for the Holy Spirit this morning. In spite of the chaos going on, I hold on to the sovereignty of the Lord. “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” (Isaiah 26:3)

The Holy Spirit is so awesome. He leads and guides in this relationship with the Lord. Those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ receive understanding of spiritual things by the Holy Spirit. Remember, “The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.” The intellect has been given to us as a tool; it does not replace the Holy Spirit. Divine revelation comes from God, along with illumination and inspiration. Are you willing to deepen your relationship with the Holy Spirit? The richness of this relationship fills a longing that cannot be filled by man.

My journey has included many things, but most significantly, the awareness that the Holy Spirit has been in me and with me. What stands out is that as I invest in this relationship with Him, the more sensitive I become to Him.

Galatians 2:1-2 – “Then after fourteen years, I went up again to Jerusalem, this time with Barnabas. I took Titus along also. I went in response to a revelation and, meeting privately with those esteemed as leaders, I presented to them the gospel that I preach among the Gentiles. I wanted to be sure I was not running and had not been running my race in vain.”

Paul provided a great example of being led by the Spirit. No one desires to run their race in vain. It seems imperative to me to deepen our relationship so that we do not run in vain. Ephesians 3:3 – “Surely you have heard about the administration of God’s grace that was given to me for you, that is, the mystery made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly.”

Ephesians 3:4-5 – “In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, which was not made known to people in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God’s holy apostles and prophets.”

Why do we have the Holy Spirit? Because Jesus was resurrected. Easter is only a week away. Each year the signifcance of His resurrection grows for me. What God provided for us in the grand scheme of things is awesome! Yet, there is so much more.

Be encouraged. Enjoy your journey with the Lord. He has such a great love for each of us. Trust Him.
