GLORIOUS IMPACT: Biblical encouragement & edification

Encouragement, edification, and empowerment from a biblical perspective for true transformation.

Quote for the Day_03.12.25

I pray you have had an awesome Wednesday, giving thanks to God for His mercy and grace. It’s been a busy day but a good busy. I did have to take several breaks. Glad to honor God as He restores my health.

The picture above was taken today around 12:30 pm. It was 61 degrees but the image makes it look colder.

I thought the following quote is an excellent reminder of how important obedience is.

 Quote of the Day
“One step in obedience is worth years of study, and will take us into the center of God’s will for us.”
— Oswald Chambers

When you wonder what God’s will is for you, begin in His word. There are numerous places to begin. Let your words edify others, building them up. How are you talking to people? Forgiving others is another place of obedience. Do you hold resentment in your heart against someone?

There may be details about your life that God holds the answer to. However, God has been clear in His word on behaviors that glorify Him. He is not so obscure that each moment is guesswork.

Love God and love others as you love yourself. 1 Corinthians 13 is the love chapter. Remember that love is kindness and truth. Loving our family and friends as we speak truth to them is a place for understanding God’s will for you.

The intellect can definitely make understanding and obeying God challenges. We do not have all the answers nor all control for our lives. God is the all-knowing, all-powerful, and present-everywhere God.

All the knowledge in the world will prove fruitless unless we have the knowledge of God. Be blessed.
