Good morning, God bless you. Some may not be receptive to this sentiment, considering what’s happening around us. However, God is still on the throne. My thoughts today center around God knowing us from the inside out. He knows our thoughts and emotions when there is anger towards Him. The temper tantrum of a two-year old comes to mind when you have to go bed; when you can’t have what you want right now. Many are angry right now and blame God for the circumstances. No matter how we feel, God is still sovereign.
My thoughts lean toward the fact that humanity wants what it wants now. There is a lack of acceptance that when circumstances are tough, consideration for what God wants us to know is overlooked. Is it necessary to change some things? Many do not want to change their behavior. There is a desire for the blessings of God but not the need to honor God. The thought that we are good, there is nothing God needs to change. “I got this!” But do you? When catastrophes happen, do you maintain control? Keep trusting God and that He desires the best for you?
Do I understand what people are dealing with right now? I do. I have lost everything at one point in time, except my faith in God. No matter the circumstances, He told me He would never leave me nor forsake me. I have been homeless, sleeping in the park, and praying to God for protection for me and my children. Things taken for granted, bathroom access, a refrigerator, and my next meal were luxuries at one point. God has been faithful to walk me through. Was it easy for me? Of course not! For my children? Of course not! I had to keep saying, “Lord, I trust you. However hard this might be.”
What do you want God to do for you? Do you trust Him? Did you know a big part of faith is trusting God? He is faithful to keep His promises. He knows the plans He has for you. They are for good and not for evil (Jeremiah 29:11). And I do not believe He was spearking only to Israel.

Be blessed.

Good morning and God bless you! Despite the struggles, God remains sovereign. Trust in His timing and plans, even when we don’t understand. His faithfulness endures, and His promises are sure. Keep holding on to faith, for He knows what’s best.

Speaking of toddler tantrums and trust in God, I was thinking this week about how Jesus said we are to be as little children. In that context, I was further thinking about how toddlers’ wellbeing can only exist in the context of dependence on and submission to their parents. They may not always appreciate this, but it is simply reality. In the same way, our wellbeing can only exist in utter dependence, trust and obedience to our heavenly Father. I love your sharing on this. I also noticed that it’s not a coincidence that the post is immediately preceding the one about peace. Trust is the way to peace!
