The Search for Purpose

The root of my purpose is to honor and glorify God. In the search for finding meaning and purpose in my life, the next step was to ask God how to fulfill His purpose in my life. What gifts, talents, and abilities has He given you? How do you bring that forward to honor God and serve others. Jeremiah 33:3 – “Ask Me, and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.” God takes care of the rest.

Matthew 6:33 -“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.”

The verses below in Colossians point out that we have everything we need in Christ. Colossians 2:8-10

Does that mean you will be rich monetarily? It means you will have all that you need for a full rich life. The world’s riches and ways cannot feed the soul. The soul is eternal and only Christ provides eternity with God.

Be blessed.

It’s incredibly sad how many Christians believe in the prosperity gospel. Jesus neither modeled nor taught that. But He certainly taught what you beautifully said here: “It means you will have all that you need for a full, rich life.” Amen to that. 🙏🏼
